IRCTC Goa tour package ahead of Christmas, New Year. Check details inside

New Delhi: With Christmas and New Year around the corner, if you are planning to go for vacations, then IRCTC ‘Glorious Goa’ tour package might be a good option for you. IRCTC is offering three nights and four days tour package via train. The train departs every Friday for this tour from Mumbai. 

This package will cost you Rs 9,890 per head on triple, Rs 10,290 per person on twin and Rs 13,990 per head on single occupancy in standard class. While in comfort class, it will cost Rs 11,790 per head, Rs 12,190 per person on double and Rs 15,990 on triple occupancy.

IRCTC Goa

According to the IRCTC website, this package cost will include return train fare- 3AC for comfort and II sleeper class for standard class, railway station transfers, meals (MAP), land transfer would be in an AC vehicle with seating capacity as per the group, accomodation-hotel stay for two nights stay at Goa, all sightseeing and excursion as per the itinerary, etc. However, the exclusion includes any increase in train fare, service charge, onboard meals. The meals are preset and a choice of menu is not available. It will also exclude all kinds of tips to drivers, guides, representatives, Fuel Surcharge, etc.; any expenses of personal nature such as laundry expenses, wines, mineral water, food and drinks not provided in the regular menus, etc.

There are total 12 seats available in comfort class (3AC) and 12 in standard class (SL). Train number 10111 (Konkan Kanya Express) will depart from Mumbai on Friday at 23:05 hrs and reach Thivim on Saturday at 10:10 hrs. While Mandovi Express (train number 10104) will leave from Thivim on Monday at 9:30 hrs and arrive at Mumbai at 21:40 hrs.

The tour will include sightseeing of North Goa for Fort Aguada, Candolim Beach, Bagha  Beach, Anjuna Beach, Dona Paula & the queen of beaches Calangute Beach, South Goa, visit Miramar Beach, Old Goa Church, Mangeshi Temple and a boat ride on a cruise on river Mandovi
